Cleaning and Care Instructions - How to Clean a Wooden Bowl

With proper cleaning and care, your finely crafted wood product will last a lifetime—and beyond.

 

DO

• Hand wash with warm soapy water, and dry with a clean cloth.

• Recondition your wood product with recommended beeswax  at least every 6 months, and whenever the wood looks dull.

DON'T

• Put wooden products in the dishwasher, microwave, or oven.

• Leave wooden products in standing water or filled with water.

• Use vegetable or olive oils to recondition your wood product; they may encourage bacteria growth.

• Use mineral oil or wax on our products as they are not absorbed into the wood.

• Leave fruits or vegetables to rot in the bottom of your bowl as this could cause discoloration or staining.
